The Dossier Education Policies and Restructuring of the Teaching Profession that we publish in FAEEBA Magazine - Education and Contemporaneity, part of the research funded by Public Notice 004/2015 - International Cooperation of the Bahia State Research Support Foundation (FAPESB), and It seeks to socialize, in comparative perspective, the transformation of public action in the educational field and its effects on the configuration of the work and the teaching profession in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, France, Portugal and Spain. The aim is to explore the internal dynamics related to new modes of commitment and conceptions of work, as well as to analyze the models of reform and professions that circulate internationally and to understand how they have been reproblematized and translated in different national contexts.
